All proceeds will be going to The Little Princess Trust so if you're interested please contact Becky on 01432 342125 asap to book your team in (places are strictly limited).

07/12/2011 - Jim ran a bottle stall at the 'Friends of Castle Green' event in Hereford and launched the Owd Bull bottles - they went down exceptionally well!

14/11/2011 - Earlier in the year, Jim brewed a special beer called "Real Heroes Ale" for a special event being sponsored by Wetherspoons. Three hardy Royal Navy sailors undertook a sponsored walk from Wembley to Cardiff carrying the Welsh Football Association match ball for the Wales v England football fixture on the 26th March. They walked between 30-35 miles each day stopping in Henley on Thames, Newbury, Swindon, Cheltenham, Monmouth before arriving in Cardiff on the 24th March and the special ale was available in Wetherspoons pubs along the route.
More information on what went on can be found here. Help for Heroes is a very worthy cause and anyone wanting to donate can find out more here.
07/11/2011 - Becky's turn to smile for the camera - at the Hereford Food Festival.
01/11/2011 - Never one to shy away from the camera, Jim was in the paper following the launch of Wyvern Warrior at the Wetherspoons Autumn beer festival, paying a visit to the Kings Fee in Hereford.
31/10/2011 - Apologies for the lack of recent news. I've had a hectic few months which has included the birth of my beautiful
baby daughter Lily Rose Kenyon as well as brewing a new beer Wyvern Warrior (4.6%)
for the Wetherspoons Autumn beer
festival, my first attempt at brewing a Porter. The birth of my daughter was closely followed by another birth - that of my
grandson Zach Perkins so I think I'll have to take a back seat from brewing for a while and concentrate on my babysitting
duties!! My webmaster has also been busy, as well as having a few problems with his own website but hopefully
normal service will now be resumed for both of us.
I've got a new office manager - Becky Colcombe and she’s running things while I’m not around. Becky has made a good start and is working wonders in the office. One change that I should have mentioned earlier is that we're not currently serving our Sunday lunches. They may return in the future but at the moment we're concentrating on outside event catering. The Events page has also been updated although we've not got many bands lined up at the moment but we're always open to offers.
16/06/2011 - News hot off the press! I'm hosting a MUSIC, ALE, CIDER & SAUSAGE FESTIVAL over the last weekend in July, running from Saturday to 30th July to Sunday 31st July. The event will be in aid of and in support of St. Michael's Hospice so I look forward to seeing you there. More information will be posted HERE in the next few weeks.
13/06/2011 - Sorry folks but there's no live music this Saturday night due to a cancellation. Normal service will be resumed on Saturday 25th June with Pheonix booked to appear.
09/06/2011 - The refurbishment of the brewery is still ongoing although we did brew twice last week - I'd hate to run out of beer!!
I've decided to get more "hands on" in the brewery and I have to say that I'm thoroughly enjoying myself. I'm going to remain involved and brew the beer myself, leaving the others to do some of the office work!
25/05/2011 - We've had a busy week at the brewery - what started out as a spot of maintenance at the beginning of the week turned into a partial refurbishment of the brewery after I discovered a problem with the floor. Wanting to do a good job, we've lifted all the old tiles and will be laying a new floor.
10/05/2011 - Hereford Brewery is sponsoring the staff T shirts at this years Hereford Beer Festival "Beer on the Wye 7" so this is a shameless plug for the event! See HERE for details.
09/05/2011 - Some of our beers were featured in the Ludlow Spring Festival over the weekend, a very enjoyable event although sadly Hereford Brewery didn't win any awards in this year's SIBA Wales & West Region Beer Competition so we'll be back next year trying even harder.
05/05/2011 - It's been a busy week for me as I stood in the Hereford local council elections as an "It's Our County" candidate . I'm very pleased to say that residents of the Tupsley ward have supported me and I'm now proud to be a Hereford city and county councillor.
27/04/2011 - After a slight hiccup the website is up and running now although it's taking a while to get everything ironed out
(mainly sorting the photo's!). We've brewed a mild especially for May, called "Herefordian Mild"
4.0% and it's ready to go on in the Victory now.
05/04/2011 - Our latest new beer "Knight's Templar"
has been brewed (ABV 4.5%). We have another beer on the drawing board and it will likely be brewed at the end of April. "Castle Gates"
(ABV 6.5%) will be brewed in the style of a classic old English ale.
04/04/11 - The Hereford Brewery website has been static for a while so with the kind assistance of a friend it has received a long overdue makeover. Although simplified for the time being it will be easier for us to keep you up to date with news and pub/brewery information. No doubt there'll be a few gremlins while we get up to full speed but please bear with us for a couple of weeks while the website is fully developed.
